Dr Susan Lustri
Susan is a registered architect who specialises in the field of heritage and conservation. She has a Doctor of Philosophy in South Australian architectural history and is currently an Adjunct Research Fellow at the Architecture Museum at UniSA.
Over the years, Susan has completed heritage assessments for Heritage SA, co-authored books, curated exhibitions, presented at conferences and published peer-refereed journal articles in the field of South Australian architectural history. She has prepared Heritage Impact Statements for various State Heritage Places.
Susan has played a leading role in the preparation of Heritage Management Plans for National Heritage Places including the Australian Cornish Mining Sites Burra and Moonta, as well as the Adelaide Park Lands and City Layout, all of which have been successfully endorsed by the Australian Heritage Council. She has completed numerous Conservation Management Plans for State Heritage Places including the suite of North Terrace Cultural Precinct Conservation Management Plans for buildings such as the South Australian Museum, Art Gallery, and State Library of South Australia. Outside of work, Susan enjoys beachside life with her family, early morning gym sessions, and pilates.
