Matthew Raven
Matthew graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1998. Following work at several architectural practices Matthew joined Swanbury Penglase in 2005. Over this time, that included a three-month stint in China in 2007, Matthew has delivered a broad range of projects with significant experience as a project architect on large scale health/laboratory, education and recreation projects. He was appointed an Associate in 2010, an Associate Director in 2015 and in 2023 became a Director.
Within the project team, Matthew works in a collaborative manner where project team and stakeholder inputs are respected, challenged and combined into responsive design solutions. Matthew’s attention to detail together with his thoroughness in research, coordination, documentation and delivery always ensures a high quality and personalised service to clients leading to great outcomes on even the most complex of projects.
Outside spending time with his young family, you can find Matthew at his beach shack, renovating his house, brewing and imbibing great craft beer (often at the same time) and following his favourite sports including cricket, golf and Rugby Union.
