Nathan Purdie
Nathan joined Swanbury Penglase 1997 after graduating from architecture at UniSA, and was appointed as an Associate in 2010. His experience ranges from small residential to large institutional projects with a focus on Education and Health. Nathan also enjoys involvement in church projects and the boutique market of skate parks. He believes in providing practical, value for money strategies to complex problems and strives for the best possible outcome for all his projects.
Nathan was seconded to the Design Services Building Management Department of DAIS (now DPTI) in 2002 for twelve months. This experience gave him a great understanding of building procurement strategies and the inner workings of government departments. He also worked during twelve months leave in 2005 for a large architectural firm in London on airport and rail projects.
Outside of work, Nathan enjoys spending time with his growing family, golf, music and involvement in his local church.
